Castle Ruins
This stone castle on Banba's rocky eastern shore was built by then-High King Heremon at the start of his reign. It was severely damaged by Duvasa’s army, and abandoned many centuries ago. High King Proinnsias rebuilt the magnificent Carrick Castle above the ruins.
